Biography
Lucy performs music from around the world including Italy, France, Germany, Ireland, South America, USA and more. She is proficient in bal-musette style from Paris, European polkas, German drinking songs, Italian tarantellas, Irish jigs, reels, hornpipes, tangos from Argentina and jolly Christmas music. She can perform seated, strolling or roving through a venue.
Lucy's repertoire is memorised, so you won't have the eyesore of a music stand and you won't be limited to having the music from one location. All of Lucy's repertoire is in her head, so she can take it with her, wherever that may be. She is flexible and always able to change things at the last minute without a fuss.
Lucy is a popular choice for weddings and can perform at any part of a wedding service including the ceremony, canapes/cocktail hour and the reception. Her versatile repertoire allows her to cater to the more sentimental, softer moments in a wedding ceremony and also to the upbeat lively moments such as the celebratory recessional or a group tarantella dance party after dinner.
Festivals and markets is where Lucy does a lot of her roving work that she is known for. She has become a regular performer at the Queen Victoria Market in Melbourne as well as performing for Alliance Francaise Geelong & Melbourne for their annual events.
Lucy's collection of costumes range from dirndls, traditional Italian clothing, full French costume including beret and fun Christmas themed outfits. She has performed on multiple TV programs such as Channel 7's Sunrise (2025), ABC's The Piano (2025) & SBS's The Secret DNA of US (2025).
