Aaron Creigh

A highly experienced acoustic solo artist and looping specialist, Aaron Creigh has spent the past 10 years performing professionally across some of Melbourne’s biggest events, venues and sporting institutions.

Using just acoustic guitar and vocals, Aaron Creigh creates a full, dynamic sound by seamlessly layering live percussion, vocal harmonies and ambient guitar textures through looping. The result is a performance that feels much bigger than a traditional solo acoustic set, while retaining the energy and intimacy of a live musician.

His repertoire moves effortlessly between stripped-back acoustic ballads, folk, 90s and 2000s rock, pop and funk classics. A particular strength is his ability to incorporate hip-hop and rap elements into unexpected mashups, as well as reinterpreting familiar songs in his own style when the occasion calls for something different. Rather than simply recreating the original, he adapts songs to suit the atmosphere, audience and event while always retaining the essence of what makes them memorable.

With performances at almost every major sporting event held in Melbourne — including the Formula 1 Grand Prix, Australian Open, T20 Cricket World Cup and Flemington Races — as well as performances for Melbourne City and Melbourne Victory, the South East Phoenix NBL Members Lounge and Essendon Football Club Members Lounge, Aaron brings extensive experience performing for large and diverse audiences.

He has also performed at more than 100 pubs, bars and venues throughout Victoria, alongside residencies with establishments including Abacus Wine Bar, Revolver Upstairs, TGI Fridays and Blue Tongue Wine Bar Elwood.

Whether providing relaxed acoustic ambience, creating a high-energy atmosphere or building an entire arrangement live through looping, Aaron brings versatility, musicianship and a distinctive approach to every performance.

He also performs in a duo act with a keyboardist / pianist who also specialises in looping and vocal harmonies, adding that extra layer of depth to an already bespoke performance style.
